Friends:
Next Wednesday, at the exact moment of the Autumnal Equinox — September 22nd, at 3:20pm EST — folks from around the world will gather for an event that is simultaneously the last meeting of our 1.0 Expedition (the one that began with this invitation), and the first assembly of what comes next — the 2.0 manifestation of a nascent community, movement, and spirit-infused container of shared inquiry.
Since 1.21.21, we've met weekly to learn about using nature as a model, and about each other's hopes, lives and worries.
Our network has interwoven voices from five continents, and created space for artists, grandmothers, and leaders in their field -- folks like Dan Siegel and Bill McKibben, Janine Benyus and Liz Lerman, or adrienne maree brown and the Resistance Revival Chorus.
If you've attended every meeting we've held since January, this space belongs to you.
If you've never attended a meeting before, this space belongs to you.
And if you're worried about the state of the planet, or cautiously hopeful about the future of humanity, or exasperated by the slow pace of change in public education, or intent on doing whatever you can to repair our frayed civic fabric, this space belongs to you, so please — JOIN US for the last/first chapter of this ongoing expedition of the spirit in which, together, we can reimagine the way(s) we learn and live, and #changethestory of our common world before it's too late.
See you then, and spread the word!
Sam
